Functions / Duties
· To assist the District Coordination Officer in formulation of policy and its implementation.
· To execute the sanctioned policy of Government.
· To coordinate the activities of Agriculture within the department of Agriculture and with District Government.
· To supervise and control the Agriculture Wing of District Government, establish new offices and activate them for better performance within their available resources.
· To establish working relationship and teamwork spirit among Agriculture Extension, Livestock, Water Management, Forests, Fisheries and Soil Fertility Department for the entire satisfaction of the District Government.
· Responsible for efficient administration, discipline and proper conduct of business assigned to the group of district offices.
